Hi guys Im hoping someone here has one of these scopes. I just got it a few weeks ago and put it on my bantam 22 cal. The glass is very clear but the crosshairs are a little small. Im playing with the occular adjustment try to figure it out. But my question is how do you attach this phone mount. It comes with the scope but there are no instructions. I emailed airgun optics but Im waiting for the reply. So it has the tube that screws on to the front. Then you have 4 tiny screws to mount the phone cradle to the tube. But you cant do this before screwing on the tube because you wont be able to screw the tube on due to it hitting the stock. Im either looking at this wrong (quite possible) or it is a terrible piece of engineering. I would have liked to try it because i dont have the money for a good one right now. Thanks.

I don't have one of those scopes but if you go to YouTube you can put in "Camera mount for Discovery scopes" and it will bring up 3 or 4 videos of how to make it work. Hope it helps.

Funny i just did the youtube search. Found it and you cant mount it without removing the scope from the gun. Very dumb design.

Discovery scope cam does not require moving scope:

Hi Mike. Unfortunately the mount that video shows does not come with the scope. It is completely different.

I have that scope on my Compatto and yes, you have to remove the scope to screw on the camera mount.  If you get a silver Sharpie, you can put a small spot on your scope rail next to one of the scope mounts to make it easy to put the scope back in the same position every time.

I got the same setup with mine and concluded that it is of no use without removing the scope. I just enjoy the scope.

I have the 4.5×18 version and my mounting tube screws on the rear of the scope but the adaptor fits to that tube with 4 small screws. I just loosen the screws and remove the mount then unscrew the tube from the scope. I don't have to remove my scope to put it on and off but it doesn't work that great anyway so I don't even use it. Its really hard to shoot with it on there. Probably get the side shot someday.

I have the 4.5-18 version as well and love it. I would like a side wheel, but I do not know if one is available to fit.
