Discovery VT-2 10X44, Good News, Bad News

"Did you have a quality issue with a Discovery Optics scope?"

No issues yet taking into account that my side focus VT-2 4-16x50 cost about $60 less than my 5-15x50 Hawke Panorama with front AO. The discovery did arrive with scope mounts, a sun shade with holes, and flip up lens covers whereas the Panorame came with no mounts, no sun shade and bikini type lens covers. The weights are 23.9 oz for the 4-16x50 VT-2 and 22.2 oz for the 5-15x50 Panorama.

LOL....I haven't pounded the Discovery on a table like the vid shows to see if it would break so I can't verify the validity of that "sales pitch". Matter of fact, I jut ordered a side wheel that actually fits the scope to replace the modified UTG side wheel that was taken from my 3-12x44 Accushot compact scope.

If there are any negatives with my Discovery I find that the field of view more narrow than my 5-15x50 Hawke Panorama, the optics of the Discovery at 16x are a BIT less crisp than the Panorama at 15x and the Panorama "snaps in and out of focus" a bit crisper at 15x than the Discovery at 16x when scope rangefinding.
