I have a Discovery VT-2 4-16x50 scope. When I unscrew the turrets to set them to zero, they won't go to zero. I can set it down on +1 or -1, but not zero. Any ideas?

Lug groves where the turret caps lock down are different are different than the internal lugs/gears. Not uncommon unfortunately, mostly with lower priced scopes but have experienced it with several mid priced scopes too (and with one high priced scope). If you like the scope otherwise, the easiest solution is to accept it. Sorry.

Aztec scopes suffer from the same flaw. Making a scope tape to cover the turret is one way to deal with it. That's what I do.

Sounds good, thanks guys. Not really a big deal, but just wondering if I was missing something. I see I have one set at +1 and one set at -1, I should probably set them both the same, lol.

Yup it is as these guys state. I found my Aztec scopes to be right on unless I tried to change the zero then they would be off sometimes and right on others. There can be a difference between the number of clicks and number of notches on the turrets so things don't always line up.

Yup some are OCD I try to make it hard on them when I can. ;^) Problem is I often find myself a ltitel on teh ocd sdie meyslef in soem wayz.
