I had one of these: Discovery VT-Z 4-16X50 SF First Focal plane and returned it because I need two identical scopes and couldn't get another. Charlie said he had a 40% return rate on this particular model. I don't know if the rest of them are ok or not.

Mine is very good so far, but the glass is sharper on the HD series. The 30mm tube with the 50mm objective make it pretty bright and the side wheel feels pretty good.

Airgun Optics Plus has really good customer service. I have both the FFP and the SFP versions of this scope, The one time I had a technical question, Charlie figured it out and sent a picture of what I needed in under an hour.

Another plus 1 for Charlie and disco scopes. Just ordered my 2nd disco scope.

Yup Charlie is great and so are Discovery Optics! Have 6 different ones over the last 4 years and never had a problem with any. The HD line is my favorite. Have a 10X44 HD and 4-20X50 HD. The best reticle IMO

If possible buy from someone that if you have an issue with your Discovery scope or any other scope for that matter.

I bought my Discovery from AlliExpress taking a chance I'd not need any repairs because of very favoriable reviews. I was wrong. Mine won't hold zero and now it has degassed....foggy optics.

Passing on my experience.
