disaster with the kral...then..

recently acquired a kral nemesis and needed to convert it from 22 cal to 25 cal. watched a video by a turkish guy not in english but i watched what he was doing step by step. pulled the shroud , pulled the barrel , take supplied wrench and slowly twist pellet probe and SNAP! i then just thought GREAT MOVE BUTTWIPE! i sat there pondering what to do because the rest of the probe was still lodged in the block. so i hit the red button and contacted steve from air velocity sport yuotube videos whos dealt with krals and sent an email to troy hammer. of annihilator airguns. steve responded fast and talked me through how to get the lever mechanism clear of the block. he gave me a good luck on trying to remove the embedded probe part. but once in the open , it's ass was mine! 1/16" drill bit and 15 mins later it was clear. so i threaded the 25 cal probe in and put it back together again, now i will be finally able to shoot it. BIG THUMBS UP FOR STEVE OF AIR VELOCITY SPORT! 👍

troy also responded with a brief description similiar to steve's which was cool as well.

Oh No!
I thought that only Kral's Puncher Breaker valve-stems were supposed to snap.. Not their pellet-probes too.. 😀
[I would normally never joke about something like this, but you seem to be in relatively good spirits - Considering]

Marc, I'm really sorry to hear that you ran into this headache. Especially right from the start.
It's great to hear that Steve and Troy both hit you back with some great information that did the trick.

Now look at JimNM stepping up to the plate.. Awesome!
This is why I love this hobby and this forum so much. Such amazing guys!
I was initially going to offer to buy you another replacement .22 cal probe..
If Jim sends you the one that he has..
I'm game to either pay for that, or pay/reimburse for the shipping..

I'm going through a hell of a time right now with 2 brand new FX rifles,
trying to get them both working right, so I can actually / finally get to shoot them too..
So I know how much of a pain it is having to work on something instead of just getting to enjoy it as intended.

Just keep me posted guys!

😊👍

PS: From here on out: 🤞 🤞

ok , since the gun is now up and running. i did quick chrony work. this is initial results , i found them interesting. 25 cal version. 1 bottle fill - got 105 shots

80 shots high - ave 700 fps spread 17 fps with 34g jsb pellets for 37 fpe.

5 shots 2nd - 665 ave for 33 fpe , mid power 530 fps ave for 21 fpe , 4th power level 382 fps ave for 11 fpe and low power 332 fps ave for about 8 fpe

sounds shockingly low , but , if you think about it. power levels like this would come in great for a barn gun to clear out pigeons inside a barn without damaging structure. rats as well. while not the most powerful 37 FPE is certainly higher than most if not all NIB 22 cal guns. i will most likely tweak the gun to up the power by about 10 FPE across its range. try to get the high to about 45-47 FPE and the low to about 16-18 FPE etc.

note - this is one very consistent non regulated gun. it's very close to my taipan , better than my brocock bantam sniper was. very impressive for a non regulated gun.

Marc, this is a great update!

I'm glad to hear that you've gotten to shoot and test the Nemesis,
and it's nice to see the initial testing results. Nice numbers.
It's also pretty awesome to hear how consistent it was for you.
Like I said previously - I am Very impressed with Kral's non-regulated guns,
as they can and will shoot as well if not better than some regulated ones.
Good deal!

😊👍
