Disapointed in Pyramid Air and thrilled with Hill pump

Aug 24 I ordered some extra oil for my Hill EC3000 compressor from Pyramid Air, they were back ordered, but expected in a week and a half or so, with each week the date kept pushing back and back. I got tired of waiting so I went to the Hill pump web site ove r the weekend, they were in stock in England, order some, they arrived today, amazingly quick.

I just do not understand why pyramid does not have anything close to a real shipping date

Agreed, it's pretty frustrating the way they do that. They shouldn't even list the estimated date.

Many issues are having an affect on shipping goods these days, most noticeable among them is the accursed COVID virus. Throw international shipping into the mix and things can become much more complex.

I understand the excuse of covid/shipping but what i don't understand if something is in a container on a boat heading to the US you know roughly when and how many will be here. My company imports stuff every week and yes there is delays but not for months on end. I am about ready to cancel the order as i have been getting bumped on a 2-week interval for 2 months now.
