Did I make a big mistake? I bought a Yong Heng compressor from China!!

Keep going hard with using it so we know the capabilities. Your review will make us(me) buy or not buy it 
. China usually starts off with crappy products but then as they slowly modify and improve their designs, they can become very amazing at a insanely low price. If they are not making good compressors now then they will in the future .

Ok Gentlemen, It's probably time for another update on my Yong Heng compressor, I have now probably filled my two cricket gun about 10-20 times, and have topped off my 45 minute tank from 3000 to 4500 once and my friend's two 60 minute tanks twice. (about 4 hours of pumping altogether)!
I cannot say enough good about this compressor at this point. It is absolutely Amazing!
It fills a .22 cricket bullpup from 100 bar to about 250 bar in just over 2 minutes!

it takes a 45 minute tank from 3000 to 4500 in under 1 hour!! Get this guys, under an hour, and you have enough air for about 4000 shots with a cricket at 890-900 fps, for 325$!!!
This is crazy.... do not, do not, do not buy a hand pump!! They cost 200$ for a decent one, and for 100$ and change more, your into gold! ha ha, just flick the switch once a week on the old scuba tank! And bingo, your pumping air!
It has also blessed me to find a vast array of parts and differnent dealers for the compressor right on Ebay!!
But from what I hear, the compressor is pretty much bullet proof, One guy on youtube claimed he's filled up a 45 minute scba tank 60 times allready without a single rebuild!! You can do with that what you will.... for now I believe him, I think!!
Well, that's the update, after about 4 hours of pumping later, I would highly highly recommend it!! The only thing I would probably change if I could do it differently is order the 120 volt model instead of the 220, just in case I ever want to take it somewhere else and use it, but I honestly don't know why I would want to do that... but it's just something I think I would change.
Otherwise Excellent product!! But Absolutely AWESOME for the money! I mean this thing shipped to my door for 325$!! Wow!!

Yesssssss! This is what makes china great(and bad). Setting a new standard for air compressor pricing. Don't daystate and many others go for 2995$? I would say using water cooling is a more efficient way to run an air compressor as it seems that many air compressors on the market only use air cool which should warp and put stress on components and orings. in a way, air cooled compressors are very last generation. Shove oil to lubricate, water to cool!
We get something similar for 1/9th the price....(2995$/345=)You sir, have convinced me to purchase one

I HAVE BOUGHT 2 OF THE CHINESE 4500# COMPRESSORS AND BOTH HAVE WORKED PERFECTLY. GREAT COMPRESSORS.

I just filled my 88cf tank from 3200psi to 4500psi in 12minutes.for what this cost you can not go wrong.i got mine for 315.00 to my door.so far I have filled 4 60min tanks from 3200 to 4500psi in 1hr of running time.only time will tell how dependable they"ll be.mine is the 110 model

Color me amazed. Think of the design and precision in this thing for $300 to $400 US. As long as I have a paint ball shop in driving distance, I can't justify one, but it sure is tempting. Complete independence (except for electricity) to shoot massive numbers of shots. And, if you are a true prepper, I'm sure your have a generator anyway.

What are you all using for a filter on the HIGH side. If none, I'm guessing you're blowing quite a bit of moisture into your tanks and guns.

I'm a journeyman electrician, heavy industrial, controls, etc. Do you really have 220 vac going to it would be the first and easiest place to start. If you do, are the two 110 vac conductors connected to the correct termination points ? is your "extension cord" large enough ? 14 awg for a 15 amp circuit, 12 awg for a 20 amp circuit. Don't load the cord any higher than 80 % of its amp rating. If the ampacity is real close to the small size cord you have, go up one size. It's cheap. If the cord gets warm to hot, it is likely too small.

I've got a silly question as I'm new to PCPs. I jumped in and bought one of these compressors on ebay but it does not fit my male quick coupler. Do I need to change the female quick coupler on the compressor line? It seems to be to large for the guns fitting. It's a new Benjamin Bulldog and the compressor line is metric at 10mm x 1mm pitch threads. Although I did not check the threads to english sizes.

Well I may have figured it out on my own. For sure the quick coupler will not fit the gun so I ordered a new one on line also found that my lines have the bspp thread. Pretty straight forward when you research it. Let's hope it works. I've been dying to shoot this gun for a while now. Not to mention trying out the compressor.

The cheap Chinese compressor lines are 10x1... which lines do you refer to as having bspp? Definitely not the lines that came with the compressor.
I ended up needing to find an m10x1 to 1/8bspp adapter and couldn't so I had to have one made at work. Hopefully whatever you did works for your situation. If you find you don't have the threads you thought you did, don't try to "make" them work.

At first that is what I thought was the 10x1 but after measuring and some on line searches. It looked to be a 1/8 bspp as it is a parallel fitting with no tapper. The compressor is a Yong Heng and I've tried out several 1/8 fittings that I have on hand. Any who if this one I've ordered doesn't work I may be calling you for help.
