I went ahead and pulled the trigger on theAir Venturi Rail Lock Spring Compressor this make easy work of replacing the spring.After I found the problem this spring had hardly any preload and it was shorter and smaller in diameter than the vorteck spring that I used to replace it with.It also was bent and crooked. The piston seal was damaged their was a round thin metal tube inside the piston along with a very thick washer.Here are the before and after numbers .along with some pictures ,( this was a re manufactured gun from Airgun depot ) 653.36 JSB 15.89 before 747.50 with Vorteck spring 677.40 H&N Baracuda Green 12.35 825.33 with Vorteck spring
