Diana Outlaw

any one bought this yet? Regulated and consistent shot string...for $500.

It does look to be an artemis airgun, as is the "Diana Stormrider" which certainly must be the Chinese artemis made "Diana" labeled version of this rig.
Sign of the times I guess, they do claim ( for the stormrider) "German beech stock" no saying if they exported the wood to china or whatnot.

OP's pictures to me looks the most like the SPA Artemis M16

edit:
This company would be happy to put Bill Smith or anything else on the for a name if you order enough.

Agree with spysir. looks alot like the M16 on the Artemis website. Same specs. I thought the M22 looked interesting - quite similar to a Marauder but at 200 bar pressure, a slightly larger 250cc air chamber and an 11-shot mag (and a Diana-style safety on the trigger, also barrel band is slightly further back). Then it struck me that Artemis is the Roman name for the goddess Diana. Hmm.

(replying to my own post) - found a couple of reviews on youtube for the M22 I mentioned above - from a bunch of other countries. I guess it just isn't released here yet. One big difference from my synrod is the gauge is at the end of the cylinder instead of under the forearm. There's a vid in spanish of a guy shooting two 5-shot groups at 50 meters (55 yds). 1st group is under 3/4", 2nd group is 1". Maybe these are hints at what's to come from Diana.

It does seem to be what Diana is doing. No longer bothering with any real distention between German made ( I'm not hung up on a country just the QC associated with the work done there & name used) and Chinese outsourced/designed/manufactured. The 240 ( right?) was/is 100% not German but you would have had a very hard time figuring that out.
The Stormrider - may be a real value- certainly isnt what people think of when they think Diana "made" it. Better support than mrodair but darn.
Diana was for years a decent brand and you knew where it was made, could even get " the low down" sometimes. Now it's just a stamp and you had better research.
Personally I would have liked them to come up with an alternative line name maybe.
Some of these rigs you can be a ( US ) dealer buying just 6 - good price- wonder how many to get your name on them? Might make for cool gifts at some event with the family/company name for the maker and model?
