Diana Outlaw Vs. Ati Nova Liberty

[Edit]
Guys, [posting below this]
Thank you for catching my comparison / explanation mistake!
2 days going on 3 - No sleep..

I was originally *attempting to explain* the TWO DIFFERENT rifles
and the different brand/model names that THEY went under,
as well as a few US based importers..

In my dazed and confused state, It looks like I had blended the info
from the two Different rifles into one. haha Not good, and I apologize!
I'm glad that you guys caught that, as I Hate misinformation.

I deleted rather than corrected, as my brain still isn't up to speed yet..

😜

Sam -

Wish I had a Outlaw to compare it to my Nova Liberty. Was going to buy the Outlaw until the Nova Liberty made the scene.

They both look like twins.

Looks like both had to go through some growing pains and the Outlaw is beyond that now.

I'm on my second Liberty because the first was a leakier which eventually became a regulator failure. So I returned it and ATI sent me a replacement which also had a leak and missing the fill probe and single shot tray. I was able to find and fix the leak but was out of a fill probe until a replacement was sent. I did a partial fill, to fix the leak with a BSA probe, until the probe from ATI came in. Think it would have been easier and faster to send the second one back than waiting for a fill probe.

That's my experience with the growing pains of the Liberty.

Thank you everyone for clearing that up for me. I still have no clue about what to buy however. I have an air arms S410 and a Marauder along with a bunch of springers and co2 guns and would like something to tinker with for the best value. I want a side lever and regulator what does everyone think? Money is tight I have four kids and two are in college right now so I have to keep it cheap and quiet, back yard friendly.

Thank you,

Jim

I had an early Diana Outlaw in .22 and really liked it. I had a problem with the cocking lever pin and it sounds like that is one of the issues they fixed on the new version. Other than that it was a great gun

My uncle has the Liberty and he really likes it. I have handled it but have not shot it so I cant give any input on that. I think it looks well made especially for the price. Unfortunately we didn't have our guns at the same time so I couldn't do a comparison .

The new Diana Outlaw looks really nice and it sounds like they really did upgrade it where needed.

Agnthooziast,

That is why I need cheap, I would love to know how people are buying guns like the impact or dreamline spending $1500.00 to $2000.00 Must be nice! I have been working my butt off for over thirty years and have to settle for old used or cheap.

Check my YouTube channel, I’ve done 2 videos about the Nova Liberty. I think out of the box this gun at 300 is hard to beat! I’m not posting againthe video here because I just posted Ep2 on a different thread.

Bluecup

I picked up a Nova Liberty 22 in wood early December for $275.00 delivered. I think it's a great platform with a lot of flexability. Shot great out of the box, and with a 4350 fill, included regulator (easily adjustable), adjustable trigger, Hi-Low power selector, and smooth but sturdy lever action, single shot tray, 2 mags, and a foster fill probe, it's a solid combination that is easy to work on. Got about 55 shots in the 920 - 930 fps range with H&N FTT without touching anything.

If you check other forums you will find 60 pages of info & videos on the Liberty under " Any US imoprters carrying this gun". Hope it's not against the rules to refrence that. Good luck.

I got mine on a black friday discount that they extended. Knowing what I do now about the gun (not as much info back then) I would pay $ 349.00 and still be happy. Maybe they will run another special soon. Obtaining parts is the only caveat, it's still a little early to tell. They stand behind the warranty well, but most issues were resolved with an exchange for a new gun. Simple parts could be fabricated by other forum members, or friends but at some point ATI will have to commit to carrying a full line of parts for ordering.

This is a consideration on any purchase & I didn't want to recommend the gun without mentioning it. They have always been friendly on the phone and responded to my emails. I still love the gun & have had a great experience with it.

Guys, I think there's a 20% discount, I'm not sure if it will still work but that will give you a nice price

I got one without a fil probe also. It was two days out of warranty before I realized the probe was missing. I don't get in a hurry about unboxing.

I buy things when they are available. I waited almost a year for the gun to be in stock again. ATI has NO PARTS available after the sale.

I was told I had to buy another gun to get a fil probe.. Anyone know where I can get a fill probe.
