Diana Lottery

So I took advantage of Pyramyd groundhog sale 13% off because like any gambling man,I felt lucky. So I ordered the Diana Skyhawk in .177 and so far I think I may have won the draw.Only thing I done is run a dry cleaning patch down the barrel and it came out damn near clean as it went down.Good sign considering stories I’ve read.Heres the first shot string using Crosman Piranha 10.5’s for 53 shots on the chrony.Gun comes with Diana case but Pyramyd sends this UTG Homeland Security case with purchase too. This one fits gun with scope mounted.

Vetmx I’m cracking up because that is so true 😂...I should have mentioned the basic chrony numbers in my original post...sorry guys.

200 bar start: 53 shots down to 100 bar

high:928

low:837

avg:902

es:91

sd:27

It didn’t drop into the 800’s until last mag.

I was gonna get a .25 but those seem to be the ones I read most problems with but I might still get one and customize it like I plan to do with this one.I ordered the airfective 2 stage shroud that comes with optional ldc. Was gonna order a barrel but now I’ll wait and see.

The .177 guys and a decent amount of the .22 guys can get lucky and with minimal work, can get the gun shooting good. The .25 is a different story. To get it shooting on par with good .25’s, you will have good .25 money in it and still be stuck with a chinagun. Trust me, that fancy stock will never make up for a Taipan, Cricket or Edguns build quality or power output.

Yeah if I’m gonna do something like this in 25,I been looking at that brocock bantam sniper hr as probably next on the list but I’m happy with this for now and I have a Sumatra carbine .25 that’s easy to carry and maneuver.
I have three China bikes too,2 Tao Tao’s and an Apollo, all run fine.China stuff can be ok if you give it some attention ☺️Very happy I don’t need to get that new barrel though...

knockin on wood..

That’s a funny statement about the power potential. My Skyhawk hits 46 to 47 FPE in 22. It is both Quiet and accurate.

And while not a 25, it is a far better styled rifle compared to the hi end 25’s.

Your post is very misleading to a potential buyer of a Skyhawk. Some of us know that your gun was junk when you bought it and it took your frustration then a good bit of money to turn it into what it is now. Gotta tell the whole story so guys know what they are possibly getting into. That's what these forums are for.
