Diana Bandit PCP tuning

So i got myself a neutered (156m/s~510fps with 7.8grain pellets) Diana Bandit in .177 from Germany (they have a 7½joule~5.5fpe rule for unregistered airguns).

Took a 2mm~47AWG drillbit to the brass transfer port and got 178m/s~584fps (original fitted a 1.2mm~56AWG drillbit).

Same drillbit down the valve body (standard fitted a 1.4mm~54AWG drillbit) and now it's a frisk 223m/s~731fps. Now were cooking with gas.

Mine came fitted with a silencer from the factory and for some strange reason they turned the baffles 180degrees the wrong way!

Nice silencer and it does a fairly decent job regarding sound muffling, but it was installed with lots of Locktite so tools was used to tear it off the first time.

And the stock, man oh man! That thing fits a ham fisted gorilla not my small greasy mittens. So some preliminary sanding and in the near future some range time.

Fitted a 40mm red dot sight and now the magpies better beware ;-)

Hmmm I'm curious. Mine was doing 850 fps.... All I did was polish the turn in the barrel frpm the TP. I dialed mine back to about 630 fps with a regulator. And cut a lot of weight off the hammer/weakened the hammer spring. The valve body, I also cut back significantly to provide room for the regulator. I tossed the plenum I was supposed to use and cut an oring seat into the valve body face (and hogged out the body) . Gets about 50 shots @ 630fps Can see I did a ton of cutting on the grip as well. Easily the most fun gun I own period.
