Diabolo Fired Backwards

How inaccurate is it because it was such a short distance I'd be interested to see that in a much longer distance more like 50 yards?

I saw this same video a week or two ago. I have a theory, (perhaps a stupid one...), that air pushing on the in-sides of the skirt are why it remains facing backwards for a time. I agree that I would also like to see it tested farther out. I wonder if it would destabilize as the air pressure drops with lower speeds? But, physics was never my strong suit...
