Deer problem

Some people would be thrilled to have this 20 yards from front porch. I want that tree to grow!
Besides a fence of chicken wire, does anyone have a solid solution to ridding me of this Buck thinking it’s his territory? Human hair, peeing there? IDK & I don’t want to take him in season as nobody but me likes the meat so it’s a lot of work unappreciated by family. I could give it to someone but I don’t feel like doing it right, which takes me a good 6-8 hours at least. I just want my tree left alone.

Tree farms around here use watered down white paint on the trunk of fruit and nut trees. It is unnatural and the bucks won't run them. Bars of soap in a sock, stinky shirts, pie tins/wind chimes, or basically anything that is not natural to them on the wild works for deer eating shrubs and young twigs on trees, unless they are conditioned city deer.

Tonight I had a deer problem as well. There was a half dozen doe hanging out at the range, following me back and forth about fifty yards out from the 100 yard berm ,Sometimes and wandering within 30 yards while I was shooting. A ricochet would bother them sometimes but they're so conditioned to firearms and people they just kept eating.

Deer did that to my planted pecan trees a few year s ago. I had to cut all the tree just below the rub and the trees lived.

I used corrugated pipe to protect the trees they didn’t destroy. “T” posts will work too. Human hair from ladies barber shop works. Deer dont like rocks or gravel to stand on either.

I’ve been at war with the b’stds for the last 3 years now. If it’s an option, a 243 works too.

“Just keep eating.” Now those, are some odd Does.
My property is quite a Hunters Dream. I’ll post a Google Earth shot with 4 main trails they ALL run through lined in black.
It’s what Military or LEO’s would call a funnel point for them to get to corn/soybeans from the woods behind me that you could walk to Canada through from PA. I only own 2 acres. Guys behind me are avid hunters & one feeds, Other bought 27 acres with his property. Post full tree shot at sunrise.

You might ask why. I know I did. Fact is this house sat empty for 2+ years until we bought it. I believe the local Deer just started using the natural valley behind me, then the yard. Fawns are born in my yard every year. The tall grass on N & S sides are perfect bedding area for all the Deer. I had way more before we got this Mastiff but she’s over 6 now and ignores Deer. Anyway the Deer used it. Were born here & Bucks follow. I’ve told guys I’d let any disabled hunter use land free as they don’t have to leave my yard. I offered use for trades on any lefty bows. The tags make things less than ideal. Anyway, though this is fairly country it’s not the boondocks. Lots of spotters at night, & poaching is known to have happened. Game cameras even had one morons face all over the web/ archery sites for surrounding Counties. So we neighbors do watch out for all & many have given me permission to shoot my “toys” on their lands.

Trail behind me running SW is a dry stream run off from fields to SE I plink into watching dust drift. That’s where I can shoot 200 yards from porch with 10-12’ of drop depending on speed & CPHP’s to 21.14 Kodiaks or 33.95 JSB’s work really well in showing dirt fly. I obviously have a great shooting spot with permission to shoot any Varmint in field owners crops. There’s no restrictions here. To shoot anything all you need is a man made or natural berm.
I have 3-4 targets set up from 20-100 on property and usually zero at 10-12 yards in basement with plum bob, levels on receiver, scope, bench.
It’s hard to write but I’ll put #’s on one more satellite photo showing actual distance & it’s a 4* rise to 200 yard mark in open field. First empty barn is 140 yards past that but adjacent to occupied trailer so slugs would have to go further East. That’s a 450 yard field seen from my 2nd story floor only.
I just tarred roof vent & chimney flashing. Said to Dad, who was here in case I fell. Anyway said, I wish I had a 8’x8’x6’ high box up here to shoot into field from & Archery hunt valley behind me. I’ve only taken a Doe when I did hunt because I feel I should let these neighbors have the trophy Bucks. I’m just a meat eater. I doubt I’d even mount a rack. I do have one hanging but that’s only because Dad quartered a Buck at 293 yards with a 150 grain Federal .30-30 before I was even born.
