Decent scope for an HW95 that won't break the bank

I wanted to see what scope everyone recommends for the HW95. I just started playing with springers and have been enjoying my RWS 34 in .22. Yesterday I ordered a HW95 in .177 from AOA. The salesman seemed nice this time around and sold me the gun for $350 with free shipping and a some free pellets. I'm looking forward to comparing the two guns. Does anyone have any decent scope recommendations? I'm not looking to spend a fortune I plan on using the gun for backyard target practice and squirrel hunting.

I’ve tried a lot of different scopes and have settled on three favorites. All are rated for use on spring guns and all have given me many thousands of trouble free shots.

Hawke Airmax 4-12x40

Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40

Nikon EFR 3-9x40

If the Nikon came in a 4-12x mag it would be my top pick. The sight view and turrents are excellent. None of these scopes will break the bank.

I have 5 nikon efr air-rifle scopes. They have been on R1s Hw90s Hw95s hw97s and Tx 200s. Out of all of them I have one that I suspect may have problems that just noticed a week or two ago. Not sure how old it is and not even sure if it’s bad. Could be the rifle may have problems. Anyway I don’t think you went wrong with the choice unless they changed something else when they changed there caps. All of mine are at least a year or so old.
