Dealing with the pain of waiting

If you haven't yet, get the nursery ready for it. Pick out some pellets to feed it, decide what scope you want to dress it with, plan a party with your friends for its arrival. Don't forget to RSVP the invitations. Most importantly, you need to consider its name. Will it remain Bob Cat the second, Mark II, Bob Mark, Bobby C. Feline II, etc. Get some cleaning supplies. You know that little barrel is going to get dirty. Consider a good cradle. I understand the FX has custom fit soft lined cases. Don't forget the long term. Dream and decide how you plan to raise it, and I'm not talking about shouldering, cheek welds or parallax. I'm talking is the little guy going to be a hunter or a bench rest kind of kid. Train him up in the way he should go and when he's old he won't depart from it ! As you can tell, you think you are ready, and you can hardly wait, but you really need this time to prepare. The good people at FX know this and want you to take the time to prepare the proper environment for little Bobby. Bwahahaha Seriously though, hang in there, it'll be there before you know it, and half of us envy you!

CayinIve ordered a .25 Bobcat MKII, and there is a small chance i MIGHT get it soon. My local gun dealer (in Norway) said they had only one rifle left in Sweden, and i might get that one, or i have to wait a couple of months.
The pain, the pain.... I feel like im a child again XD

I feel ya, I am waiting until hopefully mid July for my .25 cal Vulcan from Airgun Technology. Bought and paid for...tic....tic....tic. but Pinker has it right. Get things in place. I dull the pain by reading every review I can and watching every video I find. I am also setting up classified posts on 3 forums to sell my .25 Benjamin Marauder Gen 1 in a MDRL Bullpup stock that I have basically modded head to toe shooting Kings @ 926fps for 20 shots at on 16 fps ES.. a Modded Marauder Pistol in carbine converted to .25 cal tuned at 740 fps for 20 shots with Kings too. A custom Discovery with Prod hammer, valve, and end cap for increased tuning ability...all 3 dead accurate at their respective optimum zeros...trying to ease the financial hit of the Vulcan.. ;)
Long winded reply but I feel your pain...it will be sweet tho!

Above .177 caliber, you have to apply for a licence, but there's no limit on power for any caliber.
You have to buy a approved steel gun cabinet to get the licence.
Hunting is for powder burners only, no exceptions as far as i know.
Normal processing time is a few weeks (includes a background check 😊 ), but if you have prior approved licenses, you can get approved in 2-3 days.
They did question why i wanted a .25, as the "normal" caliber people want is a .22.

For big game hunters:
In addition to a hunting license which includes a written test (done once) , big game hunters need to pass a test every year (if they want to hunt that year): 30 training shots which are registered. And 5 shots within a 12" (30cm) cricle on a caribou silhouette at 109 yards (100m), no fixed shooting support like bipods allowed.
