Daystate Wolverine R HP - Eye Candy

Wowza! Great looking gun and very well photographed. How is it's performance compared to the RW's? I think I'd try another gauge just to confirm that regulated pressure if you haven't already. You'd think that 130-135bar would do the trick.

I've got to hand it to the DS's for wood quality and just overall beauty.

Jimmy

Jimmy, this is the high power version. The regular Wolverine is set around 120-130 bar. This one is generating 45+ ft lbs so they upped the reg pressure at the factory to achieve these numbers.

Is it me or is that gun longer than an Air Ranger???

The Air Ranger was/is a great gun, but compact and easy to carry it isn't. In fact, it's a handful on the bench!

Not complaining...to each their own.

Not sure of the length of the Air Ranger. I'll have to agree with you that this being the high power version, it comes with a longer barrel and the additional silencer adds more to the overall length as well.

Indeed... the HP versions with moderator become quite 'large' shall we say. My Red Wolf HP is quite the beast - awesome on the bench - not exactly a "handy" choice for walk around!

190 bar ? How many shots with 25g pellets ? Mine came 170 bar ....

I'm guessing it's somewhere between 170-190 bar. It's hard to say because the regulator gauge is not very precisely made (the whole needle is offset to one side). I'm getting 40 or so shots from a 250 bar fill. I don't really keep count. I do know it is very very consistent in ES and SD. I was getting a lot of "duplicates" when shooting over the chrony.
