Daystate Wolverine R .177 shot string

So I did a little adjusting to my new Wolverine R .177 and ran it through the Chrono to see how the numbers look. I initially filled it to about 225 bar and shot 30 shots...Hi 903...lo 895...avg 889. ES 18...SD 3

At this point it was down to 200bar and I reset the Chrono because normally I only fill to 200bar and find most guns to be consistent at this pressure. So from 200 to 150bar I shot 100 shots. Hi 893...Lol 880...avg 885...ES 13....SD 2fps. These numbers are what I was looking for when I bought this rifle with the Huma regulator. I must add the pellet is JSB 10.34 Heavies.

At this point I was at 150 bar and wanted to see when it fell off the regulator....another 27 shots and then it fell off the regulator at approximately 125 bar. So approximately 160 very consistent shots from 225-125 bar but crazy consistent from 200-150bar. Just thought I'd share my findings.

would love to see the full length shot string put together. is that possible? would be great thanks.

my air wolf swap says to fill to 230 bar... but I never do any more cuz the shot string is flatter from 185 bar down to 80 bar. this is on low power 14foot pounds with jsb 10.3s

my raw bm50 177 I fill too 200 bar and it goes off the reg at 125 bar... so 125 shots with an es of 10..

my raw bm500 came shipping doing 915 to 920 with jsb 10.6

but when I turned the hammer spring to get to going at 885 the accuracy got a lot better.. bench rest quality.

its great to see that kdog got better results just lowering fps...

thanks for the exelent post kdog ..your sd is looking pretty good for a new gun.. im sure yr sd will get even better over time as the reg sets in.. its sure good now

My Wolverine R came through with the regulator set to 150 bar. I have not changed that setting. It gets me about 925 FPS with JSB 10.34 Exact pellets and pretty much one hole at 40 yards consistently

Some day, I may tinker the regulator down to 125 -135 bar, but as long as it is shooting like it is, maybe it is best to let it ride.

I am glad I opted for the Wolverine R over the Red Wolf. The "Red Wolf Report" aka "Daystate Report" thread seems to be a dedicated repair manual. When they are working, I am sure they are great, but there still seems to be some growing pains involved.. I have not heard of many Wolverine R failures up to now. I admit they may not be as popular, thus not as many out there to go wrong.
