Tuning daystate revere .25 tuning

I was wondering if it was new or not. Because if you tinker with a new one, it voids the warranty. Even though mine has the regulator like yours, it’s still only gets 41 shots before it drops off the regulator. If I can remember right mine shoots 31FPE.I would actually like to have mine set at 140. But I’ve only had it a year and I’m not gonna mess with it. I don’t know if the 25 caliber is set higher or not. I think 150 should be plenty enough. But don’t know for sure.I bought mine from Baker airguns and maybe you could give them a call and ask for Donnie and ask him what the 25 caliber should be set at.

Yeah you should get a lot more shots than that. Your hammer spring might be set too far also. He should be able to give you an idea of how many shots you should get also. He told me before I bought mine that I should get 39 to 40, but I actually get 41.Every time I called there when the girl answered the phone I asked for Donnie and he was on the phone within 10 seconds.

FWIW, my recently acquired, new Huntsman Revere .22 came from the box with the regulator set at 160 bar, given the meter is correct. FPE is 27-28, shot count is as advertised.

My research shows some owners reporting 150 bar and some 160 with no clear evidence of one being "right" or "wrong," just a gun-to-gun variance, likely dependent on tuning factors. My experience is, that the higher the pressure the greater the efficiency which my gun's very small shot-to-shot variance seems to support.

It will be a while before I meddle with the factory's tuning. With only the hammer THROW easily available there's little tuning one can do, as neither the hammer spring nor regulator can be changed without entering the internals.
