Daystate Revere .177 shotcount

Hey folks.

I bought a Daystate Revere Huntsman Revere here in august and have now had a chance to fieldtest it.

I was very surprised to experience I was able to shoot atleast 85 shots on one filling @250 bar with a only 200cc tube. However when I here today was to refill the gun I saw the huma regulatorgauge was on 150 bar. The regulatorpressure is from factory is set to 135bar doing 18 ft/ibs. That means I could have shot some shots.

To those of the forummembers who has a similar gun do you all experience the high shotcount I have experienced?.

overall I am really pleased with this airgun. Very accurate, good handling, beautiful walnut stock, high finish and good wood-to-metal finish.

That sounds about right. I have a Revere in .22, the reg set point seems to be about 160. I'm guessing, but I expect on a full fill, I would get 60-70 shots, down to the reg set point. It seems that 160 is a bit high, but I have no power to spare, so lowering the reg setting would probably require adjusting the hammer spring tension to maintain a tune I like, and adjusting the spring tension isn't easy on this rifle, so I'll leave it alone. As with yours, mine shoots great too.

I have a .177 Revere too. I haven't actually counted the shots yet, but I'm guessing I'm getting at least 80 shots per fill. I will pay more attention from now on and try to get a more accurate count.

I love my Revere! Mine has been accurate with the cheapest pellets in the world - the Crosman ones that come in the little plastic box that you get from the discount stores.

Intersting. So does mine. At 40meters basically all diabolo type pellet goes in one ragged hole. However at 70meters things becomes obvious there are preferences. The JSB beast 16grain spreads like a shotgun where at 40m they do one tiny hole that coves a pinkynail. I guess that type loses spindrift pretty quickly). The JSB redesigns does best so long the wind is calm. 1,5-2” groups with out-of-the-box(unsorted) are the norm. Its ok in my book. I haven’t yet tried slugs.

Some say the newer Daystate airguns all have ART barrels. I think I will trap one of the pellets to determine what profile rifling my barrel has.
