Noticed a gap towards the rear of the shroud where it meets the receiver. Is this normal or should it be seated back further? Thank you!

How is it grouping? If its stacking them in there i might leave it be. If you decide to slide it back, slide it back with a little pressure and hold it in place while you tighten the grub screws. It compresses the o rings at the stripper and puts a little tension on the barrel.

Like farting while seated ... sitting heavy or lifted off seat with some space ??? What ever gets the required / best results is what you should do.

Finally got around to fixing it today, turns out there was a loose grub screw sitting in there not allowing the shroud to go all the way back.
side note: anyone know what size grub screws hold the shroud? Could use a new set, shroud moves a little when tightening a moderator on it.
