Daystate RedWolf .30 hp

Hey guys- I have a Daystate Redwolf HP in .30 cal. I love this gun overall but it does have a very annoying feature. I occasionally need to slip out of the door to shoot a pest in the back yard. I will load my clip, then ease the door open, use the door frame for a rest, find my target, then nothing. The timer on the gun says I took too long to shoot. If I cycle the lever again it will chamber another pellet. My question is, “ Is there any way to extend this time out feature or cancel it all together? My time seems to be very short(less than 30 seconds for sure). Thanks for your ideas.

Yeah that safety trick works. I had a similar issue with the Pulsar too, but it didn’t have the safety to turn it back on. That was only ever an issue for me when using CARM mags, because the factory mags have anti-double load, just like my older Red Wolf.

I don’t know anything about the newer mags, but it sounds like you are sure that yours double feeds. Are the new style mags not anti-double load or are you using after market mags?

Yes I am using the newest factory mags. They DO NOT have the anti-double load feature.

Just remove the magazine the second time you cock it in the open position. Leave that magazine out till you're ready to take your next shot. Simple HUMAN anti double load.

APPLIES TO ALL GUNS WITH spring wound magazines.
