DAYSTATE RED WOLF @ 100 Yards ART BARREL

Very good results and superb shooting. I’m not sure that it gets any better with an airgun at 100 yards.

Very good groups. Looks like you found your 100Y BR gun. If you would, next time you shoot see if the RD Monsters are stable out to 120 to 125 yards. From my EDGun R3 at that same speed they are good at 100 but become unstable past that... Thanks!

Phenomenal shooting!

VERY good shooting, Edosan. Glad the new barrel worked out.

Furthest I've gone with mine is 289 yards, Centercut. Still hangin in there and able to ding an 8 inch triangle frequently with misses very close in the dirt surrounding it.... 4 mils of wind. Vertical was amazing. Furthest for my 25 RW so far was 220 on the same day. At 289 my apparent group size was about 4 ft with both Kings and MK2s. My 22 w the Monster RDs at 940 was good but better at 980. The bc seems on very close to Steve123's EVOL30 w 50.1s.

I HAVE had issues w different batches though. On a recent day I was struggling to get 2" groups(very unusual) and switched dies lots and immediately shot sub 1".... similar to Edosan's.

Gracias mi hermano. I’ve heard other shooters say similar things about the RD Monster and I want to see if it’s common or just my Eddy... It shoots the NSA 20.2 grain out to at least 200 yards and remains stable...

Bob, I ask because twice now I shot very good MOA groups at 96 yards but at 110 yards they were 6 inch groups. Same thing happened last year at LDs tournament (115 yards). They were stable in the morning for the first relay but were all over the place for relays 2 and 3. It could be the 1:16 twist rate is too fast. Thanks for the info. 

Great shooting Edosan - great barrel too! 

Mike, my gen1 Impact does well inside of 100Y but by some point not much farther out it does the same thing/horrible vertical, this is with the 25 cal 34's. In contrast, my EVOL 30cal, using 44's mostly, still does well even out to 289Y. Even in 7-ish mph full value winds, holding off 3-4 mils, I was able to hit that steel often. It was fun watching the pellets hit and bounce off. According to my SHOOTER app they were only going 432fps, lol. I didn't even have to holdover because of the 50 moa base the EVOL has, I just dialed 28 mils and heldoff.

Bob has that RW, with ART, tuned in, seen one and heard his reports of super small groups! The one I saw was tiny and to think I was all proud of my 3/4" shot with my EVOL just minutes previous.

That's awesome shooting edosan! I have not shot over 100yd, “yet” and I have had similar issues with pellets From lot to lot? It does not seem to be head dia. But how far the pellet is seated into the bore? I’ve experienced this before in probe style pellet seating actions? My thoughts anyway... if you get the right lot of pellets these guns are untouchable! Also I think this translates to slugs as well? If you haven’t tried this already compare Fx hybrids compared to a flat base NSA? I know there’s more variables! Arzrover the man on this subject

Edosan, which barrel did you get as a replacement? Was it the new gen2 ART barrel that is being used on the Delta Wolf? Was it sent from AoA, or from Daystate? I think we're curious since those groups are amazing and just might be representative of what the Delta Wolf can do in .22 with the RD Monsters...
