I haven't been interested in anything above .25 until I heard that about the Pulsar. Of course I'd rather have the .25 if the FPE could be in the 45 range.

Yes, same size. I had the .25. I liked the extra power. The Pulsar has three power settings, so if you want more shots per fill, you can reduce power.

The .25 Pulsar seems a bit underpowered. Kings @ 800fps, Heavies at 700fps. I like the idea of more power & a flatter trajectory, but at what sacrifice... a longer barrel + an LDC? I might prefer the .22 over .25. Does anyone have a .22 Pulsar they'd like to comment on?

I have a 0.22 Pulsar. It has 3 power levels: 35, 30 and 23 ft-lb. It is very quiet and extremely accurate and, IMO, well engineered. For my type of shooting, generally upwards and in an urban environment, 35 ft-lb is more than adequate. If more power is needed for ground quarry, further afield, then the 17 centrefire comes out to play.
