Daystate Pulsar and Heliboard

Question for those that are knowledgeable on the Daystate rifles-

I have asked the maker of the Heliboard if he makes a version for the Pulsar. His response indicates that he does have a version for that rifle but that there may be 2 "versions" of the Pulsar. He states that the rifle needs to have a separate switch for the safety that doesn't work with the side lever switch. Apparently some have a common circuit with the side lever and the safety switch paired while others have 2 separate circuits for them. Does anyone know if a new Pulsar purchased now would have the 2 circuit wiring or the 1 circuit wiring?

Mine is HP version and the safety switch is in the trigger gard

tell him that its in the trigger gard i have one work great

Thanks for that reply. I have copied the Heliboard makers reply to my question below. I am looking at .177 so it would not be the HP version.

Hi
All pulsars i have seen in new catalogs have 2 physical electric switches, one for side lever position and one for safety, in trigger section.
Someone mentioned that his pulsar has only one switch as redwolf.(safety and sidelever are mechanically linked to the same switch)
My boards needs 2 switces as it does not have sleep modes. There is a workaround for redwolf that needs some extra cabling and different programming.
Normally there is no problem but i need confirmation that the pulsar you are going to get has the trigger safety or not.

I wanted to see if the Heliboard was usable in a new .177 Pulsar (which would be the non-HP version) and there seems to be some question, even in the mind of the Heliboard maker. He was very helpful and responded quickly but a question seems to exist. Possibly the "someone" he mentions was mistaken about "only one" switch as the Heliboard maker states all Pulsars he has seen in new catalogs have 2 physical electrical switches but it would be good to have a definitive answer before purchase.

I have received a final email from the Heliboard maker stating that he reviewed the information and pictures that had been sent to him by the "someone" individual and he verified that there is NO ISSUE as far as the Heliboard is concerned for use in a new Pulsar. Seems like very good service for this gentleman to take the time to verify an answer to an anonymous question involving his device.

I ordered a Pulsar .177 and will probably replace the board with a Heliboard. I mailed the maker and we agreed that I would send him pictures and measurments of the internals so he can customize the board .

I wanted to plan to use the Heliboard in a Pulsar .177 and started this thread to be as confident as possible that it could be done. The price of the unit seems quite reasonable. I haven't ordered the rifle yet but plan on a .177 as well so I will be watching any further information you post. The Heliboard maker certainly seems to try to help and I was impressed with his response.
