Daystate’s Pulsar bullpup, specially dressed in Saxon-style woodwork… but only while stocks last!

Complementing Daystate’s new Genus PCP that commemorates the British airgunmaker’s 40th anniversary, and which will be arriving in gun shops shortly, will be a number of special ‘celebratory’ models. Released throughout 2019, these will be based around rifles in the company’s existing line-up and will incorporate some of Daystate’s favourite stock patterns that have hitherto graced other models.

Although these celebratory variants are not strictly presented as the Limited Editions Daystate has become so well known for producing, their availability will nonetheless be time limited.

The first model to get dressed for Daystate’s special occasion is the iconic Pulsar – the company’s flagship bullpup with its avant garde electronic action – which will be feature stylish laminate woodwork previously appointed on their Limited Edition Saxon, which debuted in 2016.

The Pulsar with Saxon laminate will be internationally available in .177, .22, .25 and .303 calibres, with power levels up to 70 ft/lbs. It is set to arrive in gun shops by March, priced from £1,949.00. (USA PRICE TBD)

SILENCER LAUNCH GOES OFF WITHOUT A BANG!

Stylish new 0dB airgun silencer line debuts at this year’s SHOT Show

The new calibre-specific 0dB Silencers are available in two length 110mm (left) and 160mm, and in five colours (inset)

There’s a new name in airgun sound suppression: the aptly-christened 0dB Silencers. The fledgling company has arrived on the scene making all the right noises, too, launching an extensive range of airgun silencers that perform as impressively as their looks suggest.

Designed in lightweight aluminium and CNC-engineered with the highest quality components, there are two 0dB Silencer models – the 110C and 160S, nomenclature which signifies their 110 and 160mm lengths (4.3 and 6.3ins) respectively. Externally, the 0dB’s 11/4 in (32mm) diameter tube features stylish flutes to diffuse reflections, while inside is a specially developed baffle system to dissipate both air turbulence and noise. This ensures the pellet not only exits the 0dB Silencer with a barely-audible report, but that it begins its flight downrange in the calmest air possible.

The 0dB Silencer is female-threaded to the industry-standard 1/2in UNF fitting and adds minimal weight – just 108g (3.8oz) for the 110C and 147g (5.2oz) for the 160S. Each model is also close-machined to rifle bore sizes to maximise sound suppression efficiency, with size-specific designs for .177/.22, .25 and .30 calibre airguns denoted by a star rating on the 0dB’s end cap.

Effective and beautiful, both models are available in five colors – anodized Black, Red, Blue, Orange or a Cerakote finish Tan – making the 0dB Silencer a classy combo complement as well as the perfect performance upgrade. Retail prices start from $169.99 (£99.99) for the 110C, and $239.99 (£149.99) for the 160S.
