Daystate in 2020?

All I know is I’m so looking forward to the next few yrs to see what Daystate introduces! It’s going to be fun watching some of the other “big name manufacturers” scramble to try and stay viable! I’ve been saying this for awhile it’s limitless what you can do with this electronic platform... I have to admit for me it’s going to be the expense to obtain this technology!😞

I think these are easily doable, wireless battery charging, thumbprint reader so only the owner can turn on the electronics to the gun, App. for diagnostic’s back through dealer/manufacturer ( Gun may not have to be shipped back and forth if there’s problem? ) more complex innovations could be harmonic tuning for the barrel itself through small electro-magnets or bleed air pulses to respond to specific nodes in barrel or inter-changeable chokes for slugs vs. pellets, ( this could be done on a barrel now! )electrically controllable variable dia. transfer port, specific power levels you can switch to for pellets or slugs or just more power level’s to choose from... the list goes on and on, some more realistic than others but you can see the possibility’s for this platform IMO!

Sounds worth waiting.

Thanks

NP. This is from the horse’s mouth, the big man himself. I had a chance to chat with him at EBR.

So what did he say? I'd love to hear more?

Stoti

Stoti. I don't have hard details per se. Like many industries out there, they don't let the Cat out of the bag just like that. However, as I said up there, he did elude to pushing the envelope of the Electronic Platform like a freight train. With a little imagination, like @nomojo65 you can see the possibilities are endless. The things I seem to remember were barrel/caliber swapability, but not liners, real barrels. Ability to just "tell the gun" that you swapped barrels, and the gun adjust to that caliber instantly. Ability to swap power levels that are tailored to a specific ammo type/weight. For example, you have gun set to shoot Hades at 850fps, but decide to switch to JSB Monsters, just "tell the gun" and the next time you pull the trigger it will/should be dead on.

Please do not quote me on this and take it with grain of salt. I did actually have this conversation with Mauro, but it was just that, a casual conversation. I did not interview him, nor did I video the conversation. So, the info is as best I can remember it, like I said before, just because I am good looking doesn't mean I'm very smart.

I blew the dust off the RW HP in .22 the other day and today. I think the woods has my picture up again. Damn gun is amazing. Ear shots from 50 - 80 on squirrels and the non-gun hand shot at 80 on a sparrow made the day. 25gr monsters at 950fps are deadly. I have an Impact X in 25cal and love it but this gun just blows the doors off it. I get more then a Safari claims which strikes me as odd but I will take it. All I want from Daystate is a bigger mag and I would never put it down. How can you beat a group at 100 yards like this.
