daystate huntsman regal xl hr

befor verification of its characteristics
I found something that didn't enter my mind
in 22 caliber and 40ft/lbs give you
15 shot
At 25 caliber and with the same force give you 25 shot

Seems like a misprint to me anyway.

Scott, you tuned my .22 Daystate Regal XL and I’m now getting 805 FPS average with JSB 18.1 and around 850 FPS with the 15.89 grain. Out of the box when new it was around 30 FPE with the 18 grain at 870 FPS.

I always wondered about whether or not there was a Daystate version in .22 that could shoot 40 FPE, but I have not found anyone who has experienced this power level, at least on the forums.

When Steve (AEAC) did his review of the HUMA regulated version with a variety of pellets, I don’t think he was getting anywhere near 1000 FPS. I will go back and check at some point.

That "TUNE" being ... putting in a regulator where there was not one previous. When the valve gets LESS pressure than full tank pressure ( because of a reg ) compounded by the fact valve also LOSES the ability to have the entirety of the HP air tank for the shot HAVING ONLY the space within plenum more times than not a converted Non Reg to regged gun will soften up it's output.

*Many guns do allow valve mods to be made that allow high power reg conversions, SADLY the REGAL is not such a gun. IMO..........
