Daystate Huntsman Mark II .22 (blast from the past or bust?)

You're certainly right about not much being out there! I'd guess that if it has no issues, the gun will be accurate. You may be looking at a reseal due to the age of the gun, but I don't think they're all that complicated. The gun looks to have a custom stock as well. You might try asking on the Yellow forum http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537 , there are lots of longtime shooters there.
The gun was also marketed by Beeman as the Mako, a friend had one and shot FT with it, though I never got to try it myself.

Come on you kidders, everyone had one.
What do you want to know?
That one is slightly begtter than most "huntsman's" the trigger will be crazy good ( like;y has six screws too so go slow ) outstanding groups, simple to work on, o-ring typically last 20 years ( who dont they now???). The rifle BAM copied and the copy sold for $400.
An absolute steal at that price.

Very similar to the Beeman Maco and or LR90 , you might find mention of that.

I know 2 people who still use and win with thiers.

I may have a lot of old info if you buy it and need anything.

Sold at a great price. I have fired several of those models.
Such is the market these days, have top shelf one hole airgun , but it is .177, ugh, or "just" a single shot , 10 years old and you paid well over $1,000 and extra tunignsetup gear, just put it away until you die. In todays new firearm substitute airgun culture where folks worry about "backyard friendly" but not so much safety nor Law, and "need" the latest greatest ( but I do have 15+ year old airguns that have NEVER leaked, cant seem to buy em like that anymore- noone expects it I guess) toy with no real desire to learn to shoot an "airgun" ( need MORE power/fps/shots) the greatest airguns ever made have very little $$ value. Tis a shame.

I inherited a Daystate Huntsman MK II in .22 and it doesn't hold air. When I pump it up it will hold air long enough for a shot or two but within a few minutes the air can be heard leaking out until there is no pressure. I'm beginning my search for replacement seals and thought I would ask around here for leads. Wish me luck.
