DAYSTATE ... Greek made HELLIBOARD is still avaliable

Thank you to a past post here on AGN the contact info for John in GREECE who was in the past selling his custom MK-4is & Airwolf MCT replacement / upgrade boards via E-bay is still doing so. You only need send him an E-mail and make an inquire. Ordered one for an MCT that shipped from Greece on October 23rd and landed in California on the 31st.

That just 8 days in transit ... Outstanding !

His contact: -Jack Gialoukos <[email protected]>.

After reading the thread, Thanks Motorhead, I sent him an e-mail. When you have to buy a $400.00 programmer to only have three (mostly high power) setting on the stock board, having the option to go down in power for shooting in the back yard make sense.

He's asked me to take some photos of the Red Wolf board and dimensions, so I'll get those off to him. I think the board is the same on the Pulsar, which he makes already.

How did it go with your red wolf? It would be awesome to have that kind of flexibility on Redwolf.

I’ve had some back and forward emails trying to work out if the Heliboard will work in the RedWolf. There is an issue with the way it turns on and off. Doesn’t sound like a big issue but there are some differences I sent many pictures and Jack is trying to think of a solution.

Hello

I am new on this forum, last week I bought Daystate Red Wolf which is in 22 caliber and 50 ft/lbs energy. It is not accurate as I thought, I am going through Red Wolf electronic Programmer and Helliboard for tuning the accuracy. Is it possible to enhance the accuracy of airgun without these OR which programmer is recommended and what level of accuracy can be achieved.

Bit of an update ... here @ 1 year later and a few bits of BREATHING mods just done.

Early on when getting the Airwolf had converted it from .177 to a .20 cal while also opening up the ports a bit to @ .152" in transfer size valve to barrel. The power results as stated in the above looked like this

Level 12 = 1035 fps for 31.6 ft lbs * Max power with a barracuda match 13's

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So today I took the rifle back apart going into the valving to see how much meat there was to open up the ports getting a higher overall power being the Heliboard allows such a range of power settings.
After measuring came to conclusion ports of @ .170" could be made, poppet stem thinned a bit within valve throat etc ...
So the .170 spec transfer mods got done, new o-rings threw out and reassembled.
H&N barracuda now shoots at @ 1100 fps on power level 12 for 35.73 ft lbs ! Which picked up @ 4+ ft lbs with the larger ports.
With the HEAVY Sam Yang 23.7 pellet previous ... 875 fps for 40.28 ft lbs where now they are moving out at @ 898 fps for @ 42.4 ft lbs.
All said and done running differing weights in the gun at MAX power, the standout was THE New ... JSB .20 heavy 15.89 and some resized .22 Hades 15.89's BOTH moved out at @ 1065 fps making an astonishing 4O Ft Lbs Power !!
Now granted I'm not going to run at this power level and actually have found the JSB 13.7's at power level 8 ( Of 12 ) makes @ 920 fps and yields @ 180 +/- shots on 230 bar fill in 500cc tank.
What a set up !! Ultimate Air Wolf indeed
I installed the Heliboard in my RedWolf .25. A few hiccups getting going but now fleshing out the settings and capturing all the factory settings. I just finished setting up number 11 to shoot the JSB 33.95 MKII's at 905 fps.
Shot string is 42 shots with a 10fps ES! Most consistent high power gun I have shot yet. Next I will work on a profile for the 25.39's
It is a bit of work for sure but it will be well worth it.
Some have stated the additional switch is to be able to take shots while tuning? Can anyone explain how this would be done or when it would be useful?
Under normal Heliboard operation when you open the sidelever the gun shuts off, and so it exits out of the setup (tuning) menu.
The extra switch makes you bypass the shutdown of the side lever, so the power stays on, and you remain in whatever menu you happened to be in. (but beware: when the trigger is pulled the gun will now also shoot with the sidelever NOT in the closed position!)
