Tuning Daystate Delta Wolf, flagship has QC issues Video

I am certain that Daystate has worked through all the initial problems they had with the DW for the first 6 to 9 months. For the past year or so they have been excellent. My .30 cal. that I got this past summer works perfectly in Factory Mode and is as reliable as any other airgun I've ever had, including both my Red Wolves. My sticking point was having to use it in Advanced Mode to get satisfactory match grade performance (in the .25 DW I had prior to this .30 caliber version). That is no longer the case!

Factory mode
where you set the speed and the gun achieves then maintains that speed is exactly as advertised. At EBR I shot Thursday EFT in the morning and Steel Scramble in the afternoon. A total of about 200 rounds. I had my speed set to 875 fps. And ALL of my shots were between 874 and 880 fps. ALL OF THEM. Thats over 200 shots with an ES of SIX fps. I'd love to see another gun do that, especially when it went from 60 degrees to 85 degrees during that period of time.

Even some of the "Experts" still insist on shooting their DW/AW in Advanced mode, mainly because they've gotten used to that and haven't tried the Factory mode for more than a mag or two. If you're going to buy a DW/AW and not use the intended Factory Mode, just buy a Red Wolf and save yourself some money. But if you want state of the art, the DW/AW is for you...
