Daystate Air Wolf Chrony results!

I was trying to find reliable info online about full chrony strings on the Daystate rifles. Especially the electronic models. I could never find consistent info so I decided to do it myself.

If anyone is interested, I have performed a 200 shot chrony test on my .22 Air Wolf. It averaged 6 bar/87 psi every 10 shots. The starting fill pressure was 230 bar and finished up at 110 bar. I had around 180 shots before the mapping started dropping the fps. Across the 180 usable shots, the average SD was 4.6 and the average ES was 14.4. I was using Air Arms 16gr pellets. I also managed to edit a chrony worksheet and now I can input all 200 shots. If anyone thinks they may want or need this info or the spreadsheet let me know.

Keith.

Hi Keith

I have a Airwolf MTC .22 FAC model.
So keep in touch.
On long holiday until late March but when home I will send some strings using JSB 15.9 . Normally use gun at lower power level setting for better shot count.
Is that spreadsheet editable within M/S Excel? Others I have tried are not fully editable.
From memory about .5 bar per shot.
Having issue at present with either off centre probe or duff magazines and/or breach O ring. Fires like a good 12 bore. Have new O rings ready to fit and will retest. Probe though is definitely not lining up . With no magazine and hand push one pellet into breach just leaving it poking out a mill or two , probe contacts rear of pellet almost touching left hand rear edge of pellet. Factory comment was magazines could affect accuracy and probe needs re tensioning. When I get home I will ask them whar screws and where and how.
I have a dial indicator and could set up a test.
Nice gun , bit heavy for moving hunting, ok for static and gun club/range target shooting.
Fed up by being outshot by Pals .22 Cricket. When my Vulcan .25 is properly set up and the Wolf we will see.
Have a Monsoon and a Cricket too.

Do you know anyone using a Drone for high target shooting?I know Ted does but he is a busy boy.

Safe shooting
