Daystate .25 Red Wolf. (Baracuda 31g.)

Had a question for any Red Wolf owners about ammo selection. So from daystate factory there test sheet showed they used the 31 grain baracuda. Now the test sheet is just a velocity breakdown of gun performance not an accuracy test. But made me think could be a good round, now I know that the jsb heavys are accurate. That's basically what I've seen everyone use in them but has anyone tried the baracuda in there Red Wolf .25 cal? I don't have any tins of baracuda lying around so wanted to ask before I bought some. When I owned a Air Force condor in .25 I remember that it was very accurate with the baracuda round. Also had a pretty good bc as well if I remember correctly. Anyways let me know if you have had luck using the baracuda in your Red Wolf. Thanks.

I've been testing some different barrels in .25 with Kings and King Heavies for a while now but decided to throw some Baracudas through it kind of after the fact. They actually shot better except for the occasional flier. Sorting pellets would likely yield KILLER accuracy in mine. I typically have been getting 6 or 7 of 10 through the exact same hole or very near it at 50 yards. Lots of 30 cal holes for 4 with that danged 5th flier.

Anyway... worth a try.

This may not matter matter much to the discussion but my .22 brocock ( under the same parent company as daystate) sniper loves the 21 grain Baracuda match pellets. It's a great balance between velocity and weight to buck the wind. I shoot them around 845 fps. I can literally put 5 shots in same hole at 20 yards without trying, and due to the heavier weight than the JSB 18s a shift of 5 fps does not change poi.
