Dating Anschuetz rifles: LG 380

G'day,

I am trying to date my Anschuetz LG 380 rifles, but finding a listing of serial numbers and dates has, so far, been fruitless. Does anyone know of an accessible listing?

The rifles are an LG 380 Running Target [SN 159**] with walnut stock and an LG 380 10M [SN 144**] with a beech stock.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

09489 is a number of a rifle supposedly from early 80.s any two digit number on the barell

Hi Hynzie,

No there is not a two digit number on the barrel that I can see to indicate year as per the Anschuetz site. The only writing is on the left rear of the rifle and the only numbers are the serial number. There is also the pentagram indicating it is legal in terms of power output and the makers name, etc.
