...so this morning I had a squirrel eating my garbage. I grabbed the red rider so I could teach him to stay away and not worry too much about backstop. I hit him. He stopped eating and looked around. This happened 4 times before he decided to leave.



Got me thinking. How does it feel? So I asked my son to hit me with that gun at around 8 yards (the distance I hit the squirrel)....



Holy crap. It does hurt. Feels like a HEAVY flick.....



I gained a ton of respect for that squirrel. He is badass. I would have run away if I was him..

To tell you the truth I about fell of the chair laughing about this because it brings back memories . When I was a kid I shot my brother in the back with an old weak sprung daisy that belonged to our Dad. My brother had on a leather jacket and he felt nothing. BUT he was so damned mad at me for doing it and so indigent. We talk about this 60 years after and truthfully I’m not sure he’s completely forgiven me. I know he thinks it was an unsafe irresponsible thing to do. I can still hear “ MOM, JOHN SHOT ME WITH THE BB GUN” I don’t recall any repercussions from our parents. I think I told them he was making a big deal about nothing but honestly I DO realize it was a VERY stupid thing to do because many a person has lost an eye from just something like this. My guess is you missed the squirrel . LOL

Thats awesome. My friends and I use to shoot AT each other, but we rarely connected.



I can tell you I definitely hit him all 4 times. You can ACTUALLY see the pellet as it travels, and it hit him. He reacted all times until he finally left. It's not the first time...I'vehad a few squirrels just look around...a few jump up and run.....

But this time it had me thinking and I was stupid enough to have my son shoot me. To make matters worse, he asked me to shoot him AFTER he shot me. Apple. Tree..you know...



Keep in mind..my son is 24 and married. We are not young and stupid, we are old and stupid, lol...
