The title says it all. I already have a break barrel rifle and I'm looking for something a bit smaller to carry around and just mess around with. I am mainly wondering which one is more powerful and accurate, and will last me a while. Thanks in advance.
Daisy powerline 880 or Crosman legacy 1000?

Try a Google search for reviews on each gun-a brief glance seems to favor the 880-I recommend you check the reviews for yourself.

I bought both when Walmart was closing them out for $35 after Christmas. The 880 is more accurate out of the box. I ordered a 2100B reciver for my legacy from crosman and like it better of the 2 now. The legacy receiver is too flimsy to put a scope on. At 10 pumps the Crosman is more powerful, but the 880 is easier to pump and will catch up with a few more pumps.

PLEASE - DO NOT follow his instructions to build this. Using 250psi ball valve and 2 part epoxy secured by self tapping screw is a PROJECTILE waiting to happen.
