Dairy farm ratting

Had a PM from a local member here last week saying there's a few guys that shoot a big permission together that's infested with rats.

Met the guys for a coffee Thursday then they were nice enough to let me join in on last nights fun. Set up the Boss in .22 with the LW at around 16fpe for noise and had an amazing time. One guy was using an AA tdr and s410 I believe, the other using a streamline. We pounded them, these are just some.

Thanks again guys!

Glem, that looked fun! Those are some biggies too 👍.

It was the most fun I've had night hunting I'd say, there are some serious porkers there.

Very nice indeed! Keep pounding those vermin... there really must be a lot of them to keep multiple shooters busy. Good for you.

There is a plentiful supply no doubt, I'll DEFINITELY bring out my PP700 for the close shots I had a flashlight on a couple within 10 feet and they just either froze or kept doing what they're doing. The PP will have something to say about that.

The Summer Solstice Rat Slaughter was a success! 😃

Your Boss setup with the LW .22 barrel is a sweet shooting rifle. It is also surprisingly quiet shooting at 150 bar reg pressure. It seemed quieter than my Streamline.

Thanks for coming out to our inaugural event!

Thanks very much Carlo, with the smaller Royale hammer weight it is surprisingly quiet. I like to run that reg pressure just so it's happy between the 2 calibers and I don't need to change the setting constantly. I got 120 shots on the reg, I loved your setup as well that Streamline took some lives last night no doubt haha. If I wanted I could also run no hammer weight and make it even more efficient and quieter probably. Mark is a killer with that AA, I didn't see many misses come out of it. I had a fair amount of misses misjudging distance.

Appreciate the PM and the invite that was a blast and loved every minute of it.
