Custom FX Dream Light

It’s a damn shame because I probably have 90% of the parts needed to get that gun shooting well again in just couple of hours.

That's nice that you might have those parts but he doesn't. You keep saying you grew up poor, worked hard for everything. Like none of us haven't worked hard for our money to buy these? You keep putting your feelings into it which indeed is making it personal.

He can do whatever the hell he wants with his guns. He worked hard for the money to buy them. I think it's amazing guns can shoot after what he did. I found it cool. You won't see me doing that to my guns, nor do I think anyone should. He said himself also he hated doing it but wanted to for information purposes. Helluva selling point for the EVOL. They truly are absolutely rugged guns. That Brocock did very well also.

I treat my guns well but they are also tools to me. They eliminate pests on our farm. Rides in my truck and gets bounced around and full of dust. I like seeing just how rugged these guns can be as I need a rugged gun.

Okay one thing in this thread we need to step back and realize, part of Dana’s job / income / work / employment is doing these videos, so all Dana did was what he is paid to do by torturing those guns. There are people paid by car companies to crash beautiful cars to see how they survive in a wreck, drive durability circuits, use tools until they fail and so on and so on.
And I can think most agree, Dana is a humble guy. IMHO from what I see, Dana uses his money wisely and works for what he has, and is honest about the context of his channel. He has my respect ✊ along with the respect of most of the other people on this board. If someone can never find anything negative about a product then we’ll, I don’t trust it because nothing is perfect.

Of course it's a personal feeling. Anyone worked hard to earn something would feel bad about wasting something unnecessarily, again just my opinion! Think I stated that pretty clear that it is MY OPINION! Danna already stated it would cost about 400 dollar(barrel and few parts) to repair it so it's completely savable. That's the part I feel it's a shame because it is pretty easy to repair and can be enjoyed by someone. Hell I'll even donate a barrel to restore that gun and give to an AGM member in need or maybe a veteran. Yes, that is MY PERSONAL OPINION, which is very different than taking it PERSONAL!

While I do not agree it's a practical test but that is also my personal OPINION so take it for what's worth. None of us have to agree on whether the test is practical or useful or good, they are all just OPINIONS. If you like the video then good, if you don't like the video is also good. Danna made the video for all to see and everyone can make up their own mind on what they think of it. In fact why do we need to all agree on what we think of the video? Already said some people like you found it entertaining or useful then good.

EDIT: how about this for an idea. If Danna is willing to destroy his "dream light" and send me the gun, I'll put in the parts and repair it. Then setup a thread or secret PM group to find a way to determine a deserving AGN cause or member that is in need would be kind of cool idea. If that happens then I wouldn't PERSONALLY FEEL that the "dream light" is a damn of shame. LOL

@qball, quite the response, for someone who didn’t take it personally... you doth protest too much.

This thread is about what Dana did with “his” Dream Light. Not about what YOU would do with Dana’s Dream Light. Why is that hard to understand?

LOL! Let’s agree to agree. It’s the internet and not everyone will agree on everything.
