Custom.22 P15 Predator “Build”

Update on my custom P15 it is now tuned and settling down... Incredible range of power with hammer spring, I can go from JSB 15.89 915 FPS through to Monsters 25.39 at 880fps for 44 ft lbs, still a lot of tuning to do but most accurate by dialing hammer spring out a bit and shooting JSB 18.13's at 920 fps for around 34 ft lbs...Still have some custom springs, regulator, custom valve poppets and a host of other things to play with...

JSB 18.13'S 50 Yards...

I am sure with some more tuning and playing I can find the sweet spot for each pellet...

Here is my collection all customized either partially or completely...

P15 Predator 177 - CZ Barrel, Gamo Urban, shortened barrel custom shroud, and P15 Predator Custom Semi Bullpup LW Barrel

Very well done, Mike! That look can't be beat -- classic beauty with a mix of modern tactical function. Thanks for taking us on the short tour, as it inspires us all. You should be proud.

One question, and keep in mind I am new to PCP airgunning and not familiar with foreign laws in respect to air guns. I have noticed many bullpup manufacturers feature a thumbhole stock when they can build it with just a simple pistol grip. You also built yours that way. There are three reasons that I can think of to take the time to build a stock with a thumbhole instead of a simple pistol grip:

1. It complies with restrictions in some countries of the world.

2. It is structurally stronger.

3. It is more cosmetically appealing or trendy

Which is the right answer for you, Mike, and are there restrictions in other countries regarding thumbhole stocks and pistol grips on air guns?

Many thanks, not sure on the restrictions but it gives the strong strength where needed and makes it comfortable to grip...
