Why can't I get dome pellets at my local Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, or Sportsman's Warehouse? All that is available is the hollow points. These pellets, at least for my Marauder and NP Trail don't shoot these pellets well. The NP Trail I had with the hollowpoints could rarely hit a 10 in target at 20 yards!!!!! The NP Trail shot exponentially better with the dome pellets. To me, it would make sense to have dome pellets available so the entry level guns shoot well. Had it not been for Ted and this forum I would not have found this out and I would have given the gun to a kid down the street and bought a new shot gun! I still may give the gun away but not for the reason that it can't shoot.
