just purchesd crossman shock wave using the open sights have just run 100 pellets 5 differant brands the only ones that shoot good are jsb jumbo heavy very accurate with these i know its just breaking in but most of the rest arent even on target board any comments its 22 cal

All my Crosmans have like H&N field target trophy pellets. Have you tried Crosman hollow points?

yes and now ive run 500 pellets crossman hollow points shoot ok now still not as good as jsb exact jumbo heavy diabolo 4 out of every 6 in bullseye at 21 yards also the gun has got a lot quieter it was kinda noisy at first

not sure what you guys call it for sure left palm just behind break bbl loosely a little tight to shoulder i try to pull trigger back slowly the trigger is horrible but getting better after 600 shots it is adj but have not messed with it yet for 112 dol im good with it oh also the cheap center point scope has held zero pretty good

Definitely work on a consistent artillery hold, but the best mod for these rifles is the trigger screw. The adjustable trigger has an engagement screw behind the blade, they are too short and bottomed out from the factory for “safety reasons”. If you remove said screw and replace with a slightly longer one, you can adjust the let off point easily. The take up gets longer but the improved accuracy is well worth it. This not only makes the rifle much easier to shoot accurately but enjoyable as well.

thanks for the sugestion ive got the screw all the way down now and its a lot better of course i dont know any differant all ive ever shot are low end guns hard to write anything some of the keys on my keyboard arent working limits my choice of words
