Cross Hairs look crooked

Redwolf Rosso .25 with Nighforce Scope. I leveled gun in lead sled in both directions by the receiver and scope rings. Put scope in rings and aligned with plumb line hanging from a tree limb at 25 yards. I did this scope on all powers and in shows the same. Without anything moving I installed my level on Nighforce scope. All the levels read the same with cross hairs still matching plumb line.

Gun shoots perfect. My question is why when pesting and setting up on different shots does it feel like the level on gun is never correct? When you set up on shots with the level perfect the cross hairs always look way off and I always have to correct before a shot is taken.

In my case, having astigmatism in my right eye, the crosshairs always appear tilted when the gun is leveled using a bubble level. If I tilt the gun according to what I see through the scope, the level will always be quite a bit off.

In my videos you will see that I always check the bubble level before making a shot. When in doubt, if your setup is good, always trust your bubble level.

Pretty sure it's due to the scope being directly over the stock. Then you put the gun up to your face, and your cheek against the stock, with the gun held in a plumb (what you are referring to as level) position I would bet that your head is "tilted". (otherwise you would not be able to see thru the scope) You will then subconsciously be trying to make your head plumb, which will then make the gun not plumb. You basically have to "force" your head to tilt in order to keep the scope level "level".
