Crosman/Benjamin Rebate !

I have never had so much trouble getting a rebate from any manufacturer before in my life ? The rebate was a "Cabela's Exclusive Rebate" for $50.00 on a 22cal Steele Eagle pellet rifle . The purchase was made on Nov 2017 ,it is currently Jan 2018. I copied everything that was to sent to the Crosman Rebate Center and was notified that the UPC,cut from the box was not valid !!! On my second contact with rebate center they told me they didn't get the UPC code at all !!!

I followed the rebate instructions precisely and have copies of everything submitted to them .On the third contact with the Crosman Rebate Center I was told it would take up to another two weeks . If after two more weeks I still do not have a rebate check I will Definatly be taking the Rifle back to Cabelas ! 
 
I had the same issue. It's the fulfillment company Crosman uses. Getting a Crosman rebate honored is hit or miss. I contacted Cabela's and they issued a credit equal to the rebate because they advertised the rebate offer with the product. Here's a useful link if Cabela's can't help you out. Sad Cabela's has to pick up the slack for Crosman.

Don't worry about posting it just verify it and resubmit the rebate with a demand letter for the rebate. Use copies of the original submission. If you used the wrong upc include the correct one. They have to allow you the opportunity to correct your submission. You might be better off contacting Cabela's. Most retailers will go out of their way to help because they don't want to be on the wrong side of the FTC when you file a complaint against Crosman for not honoring an advertised rebate on an item the retailer sold you.
 
With mine the problem was Cabela’s put one of their own stickers over the manufacturers UPC code which was also a sticker on the box. It looked just like the original upc with the same amount of numbers. All my rebate papers were returned and looked fine to me. I figured it out and heated up the upc stickers to peal them apart very carefully. It worked and the original manufacturers upc was resubmitted and accepted and all was well. That’s why I asked if you could post a picture so I could see if it might be the same issue. Take a good look at it. Hope you get it worked out soon, it can be very frustrating.

I've been waiting for months and have spoken with them on numerous occasions ,hardly seems worth it .
I will be going to Cabela's this weekend to voice my dissatisfaction and see if they will honor the rebate ,if not I'll be asking for my money back. As a business owner myself I know word of mouth is the best advertisement . I will possibly be looking for a different brand of pellet rifle next time !

Sadly that's the direction corporate America is going. Many different company names that have the massive buying power of one mega corporation. Screwing, or should I say nit picking to the last detail, to delay or negate the refund. No experience with Crosman on refunds, their parts shipping and service was painless. With the rising popularity of air guns I would not be surprised to see Crosman be bought out by one of these mega corps that want to add an air gun to their corp portfolio.
