    I had a few impulse buys over the holidays including a 30mm tube side-focus scope directly from Crosman. When it showed up, I was not thrilled with the amount of effort it took to turn the magnification ring. Worse yet, the focus ring was BARELY turntable. My fiance could not turn it at all. It just felt like something inside the tube was not right at all.

    I fired a message off to Crosman, and by the time I read their response, they already had another new scope boxed up and in transit to me with no cost or additional action on my end.

    I must say the replacement scope so far has been flawless. Great warranty/service appreciated.

    I wish they were that responsive for me.  I hope they're getting better at customer service and they treat more people like they did you.

    ptthere: I have one of their 4-16X50 PTL 30mm side focus scopes. Put it on a gun and it worked fine although it too takes a little too much effort to turn the magnification ring. Later put it on another gun and the parallax (focus?) knob was almost impossible to turn. Turns out it wasn't the scope but the rings were a little off and put the scope in a bind. Changed the rings and moved them as far as possible from the adjusting knobs and it works great.

    If by "with no cost or additional action on my end" you mean you didn't have to return your old scope then that is exactly what they did with me when I had a problem with one of their 4-16X56 30mm side focus scopes that would not adjust down to 10 yds as claimed.

    Always get fantastic fast service from them and nice to always have a real person answer the phone.
