I thought this was only for Black Friday week but it looks like their sales are still going.

Considering those wood-stock Trail NP2's usually sell for over twicethat much, I would say that's a steal for anyone looking for one.

Yeah, unfortunately these won't do either of those out-of-the-box. The NPE/NP2's do have a better trigger than the NP's do, but neither are overly enjoyable without a little bit of work in different ways. My NP .177 required a bit of work to the trigger. The trigger group in the NPE/NP2 is a true 2-stage trigger and completely different than the original NP, but required a little bit of work on the seer and a quick spring-swap to make it much more crisp and enjoyable.
