Crosman 2300S trigger

I have a Crosman 2300S that I shoot in 10m competition. I polished the sear and trigger contact points, purchased a different (softer) rate trigger spring (from ACE Hardware) and shimmed the pivot points with nylon washers. The trigger is much lighter than the factory original.

I have a Hawke red dot mounted on the pistol and I shoot two handed, as I shoot all my powder burning pistols two handed and figured it was good practice. It shoots well and my scores are good, but I know I lost a few points because of the trigger

Does anyone have an after market trigger in their 2300S and if so, what do you have and has it made a significant difference.

You may find that answer over on the Crosman Pistol Owners Forum.

I see them for sale on Airgun Warriers...

That is the only thing my 2300S doesn’t have..

I purchased a two stage trigger from Mountain Air Custom Air Gun’s, www.mountainaircustomairguns.com for $73.00. It took a little while for it to arrive, out of stock, but then I was gone two weeks. The trigger is pretty amazing after I got it all installed. I shoot in a 10m indoor pistol league on Wednesday nights. I’m shooting between 560-570 out of 600 shooting two handed. It will be a week before I get to shoot, but the feel says it should be an improvement.
