Growing up I had a Crosman 180 and I have been looking on gunbroker for a while for one to rebuild. But when I looked at the 2260, to me it was close to the same rifle. So with the 20% nation savings I got one for $125. Not really a rifle I expected to use much, just something like I had in my youth. Well it seems to shoot ok with open sights so of course I stuck a $300+ Leopold vx-2 3x9x33 efr scope that I had not been using on it. I'll come back and post some chrony results and some test targets in the next few days. But between 25 and 35 yards this rifle is too much fun. It seems to give about 30 good shots out of a charge but we will have to see what it really does over the chrony?
It also seems to like a number of diff pellets, but shoots the predator polymags the best.
ok I did shoot a 20 shot string over the prochrony(first time I've used the Bluetooth with it worked great)it was only at 20 yards so I could sit in my garage in the shade and shoot. It was a little funny the first 9 shots could be covered with a nickel, and I was going to take a picture after the tenth lol but that one was down and to the right. Around shot 18 the poi was about an inch lower as you can see the last three shots are lower.
