Just a little update. from my earlier post regarding the tune of a Crosman 1720T air pistol https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/tuning-the-crosman-1720t/
I knew the hammer was a bit to heavy for this tune, so now i am experimenting with different hammer weights. I made a hammer out of aluminum and delrin...it is a my first attempt to build a new lighter weight hammer. Here is what I made. It probably won't be my last attempt
new hammer weight = 15 grams
factory hammer weight = 58 grams
I want to make a new hammer around 28 grams...we will see!
