Crosman 160 3rd variant

Crosman 160 3rd variant found me when I least expected it. No pictures yet because I already disassembled it to reseal and clean up. Had sat unused for several years and really had some dried oils holding everything together. Took some effort to get the barrel out but now I can clean up everything and reseal. Bluing is probably 95% and the stock 85% or better. Stock does have a couple of small dents that may come out. Stock does not need refinishing. Have a seal kit coming. I'm going to try the exhaust valve stem before I replace it. The valve stem looks good and is worth a try.

Gun did have a broken barrel band that I will find a replacement for.

This gun sure looks like one of the Air Force guns, but without any paperwork to back it up, it's just a really nice 160. And no, it's not for sale unless the kids sell it after I die.

I even found a set of Ron Robinson/Kwik-Site scope mounts for the gun even though the gun has the s331 receiver sight I'll probably shoot it scoped. Finding those scope mounts is harder than finding a nice 160. Sometimes you just get lucky.
