crosman 140

The short answer to your question is yes. However, there is a proven method from bringing these things back to life that involves a few steps. I have read several posts on another forum that discuss it in some detail. I am sure one of the smart guys will come along and advise you on everything you need to do. It's not that complicated if you have to reseal it. I love the old Crosmans. I just finished a 140 and have several more to put back in action.

Kayaker,

Good luck with your surgery, I hope it's nothing serious. I'll look through my notes and PM you some sources for Crosman 140 parts. I don't think parts will be hard to find, at least I hope not, I'm about to need some 140 parts myself. Hopefully some other forum members will chime in with their favorite parts sources. I agree with Jonah, they are worth the effort. My first 140/1400 was the Sears variant, Christmas 1962 or 63..... I still have it, still shoots hard and straight, its never been re-sealed (KoW).
